Driving Instructor
Pro- Driving School Inc. is a Licensed Driving School offering MELT Class 1, Class 3 and Air Brake courses in Calgary and Edmonton Alberta. We are part of the Pro-formance Group of Companies.
Due to our growth, we have position in Edmonton and Calgary for Full-time instructors.
For this role, we’re seeking a Province of Alberta Class 1 MELT Instructor’s License is required to do this job. Also, an Air Brake Instructor’s License is desirable, but not required. Candidates with a minimum of 2-5 years of Class 1 experience and a clean commercial driver abstract may be considered for our instructor training /employment agreement program.
Job Description
To instruct students to drive Class 1 and 3 Vehicles using the approved curriculum and methods as per company policy and Alberta Transportation, Driver Program requirements
Orientation, Safety, Pre-trip Post-trip training with students.
1 on 1 in truck Class 1 and Class 3 driving instruction and training as per the MELT Class 1 curriculum.
Duties include paperwork, record keeping, in vehicle and in classroom instruction 5-6 days a week.
Co-operating with the maintenance team to schedule truck maintenance
Teaching Driving on manual transmissions. In a disciplined manner.
